Dominican Republic

We spent a few days in the Dominican Republic and were pleased to find that they value
interior aesthetics as much as we do!
This distressed turquoise console juxtaposed against coral Venetian Plaster
is a timeless combination.

All of the ceiling beams were distressed and white washed.

This raised and colorfully gilded panel hung behind the reception desk.

This classic panel hung behind a desk in the service area. A beautiful combination
of hand painting and stenciling.

All of the columns were finished in Venetian Plaster. Several were topped with
a stylized palm.

Venetian Plaster in the main bath house.

Detail of another fabulous carved and aged mirror frame.

Our favorite detail of all, the distressed turquoise console table.

And lastly, what's a tropical vacation without a few flamingos?!
