Akridge Mural Project Complete!

I had originally planned on doing a scene of the DC monuments but due to weather and some time constraints I changed my plan, and I'm so glad I did!  Everyone LOVED walking past this 7 ft. Boston Terrier.  Painted in the same quirky style as my dog portraits, I included a patterned background using one of my favorite designs.  

Because of all the rain, working outside proved a bit difficult.  So I completed the giant dog, on a large bolt of canvas and applied him to the wall.  The good news is I still have the dog, and he may for sale one day!

It was so much fun to be out there while National's fan were streaming into the ballpark.  The mural project was located within half a block to the entrance of National's Stadium.  All the kids would point out the dog on their way in, and some even wanted to pet him!
